AwaazPay ("the app", "we") turns a shopkeeper's Android phone into a payment "soundbox": it announces incoming Easypaisa and JazzCash payments out loud so you don't have to check your phone. This policy explains exactly what data the app accesses and why.
To detect an incoming payment the moment it arrives, AwaazPay uses Android's Notification Listener permission. We read notifications only from supported wallet apps (currently Easypaisa and JazzCash). From those notifications we extract the payment amount, the payer's name, and the transaction ID so we can announce the payment aloud and show it in your history. Notifications from every other app are ignored — never read, stored, or transmitted.
Detecting and announcing a payment, and your payment history, all happen and are stored only on your device. AwaazPay has no user account and does not connect to any server to collect, transmit, or store your data. We — the developer — never receive your payment information, and neither does any third party. Your payments are never sold or shared.
Because all your data is stored only on your phone, you are always in full control of it. Your payment history is permanently removed the moment you uninstall AwaazPay or clear the app's data in Android Settings. No request to us is needed — and there is nothing held on any server for us to delete.
AwaazPay is a business tool for shopkeepers and is not directed at children under 13.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
